Shared Interest Groups
IIANC offers Shared Interest Groups ("SIGs") to provide additional learning, engagement and networking opportunities for our members. SIGs within associations are comprised of people that have similar interests and are looking to get together with others for networking and to exchange ideas. These self-directed groups of IIANC members will focus on a particular area and delve into various topics within that area. In addition to learning from the "experts" in a particular area of interest, IIANC's SIGs will offer members a place to discuss with peers issues of personal relevance. Networking with fellow SIG members offers member agents another perspective on how to handle various issues.
Because these SIGs are designed to be organic in nature and self-directed, the frequency and style/location of meetings will be led by the SIG members themselves with a designated facilitator for each group (either a member or IIANC staff). We have identified the following initial SIGs based on previous interest, frequent questions and industry hot topics but will also look into other topics as well if enough interest.
