Thanks from the Mother of LEPL Kirk Drake

LCpl Kirk Drake, a U.S. Marine serving
in Iraq, with his sister.

I hope you don't tire of
hearing this but, thank you again for your packages to Kirk and his fellow
Marine's. And to reassure you, they ARE making a difference in those guys’
lives. My son is very passionate about his service to his country and he knew
what he was getting in to when he signed up 2 years ago. He has always loved
army men and guns and stuff and now he gets to be a "real" fighter. One of the few, the proud, a United States Marine.
And yes, Kirk's father and
I are so proud of what he is doing. It may not have been the path that we would
have chosen for him (the Marines) but it was his decision and we support him
100%. We also support our President in the choices he has made and is making.
No, I don't want my son in Iraq but I do want my son to be where he needs to be
to perform the job that he has been trained to do and to gain that level of
satisfaction in knowing that he is making a difference. He has always been that
kind of guy- always wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Thanks
again for all that you and your co-workers are doing for our military. May our
Lord pour out His blessings on each of you because of your generosity and love.
I believe you are putting
in to practice Philippians 2:1-4.
Thank you,
Sissy Drake
