We are a customer service driven insurance agency in coastal North Carolina. We are looking for a Personal Lines CSR/Account Manager. This position will handle the day to day handling of our client needs as well as writing new business. 

Overview of primary duties: (should not be considered a complete listing)

Answering and handling phone calls in a professional manner

Handling payment processing accurately and efficiently

Answering all client questions in a professional and timely manner

Review and requote renewals

Quote and sell new business for all personal property and casualty lines of business including flood

Follow agency rules and procedures at all times

Assist clients with claims and resolve issues efficiently and with care

Requirements:

Property & Casualty license for the state of North Carolina (or equivalent that will transfer from another state)

Detail oriented-Applicant must display a direct focus on attention to detail. Insurance is a detail oriented business and the details in everything we do must be a priority at ALL times.

Customer service skills-applicant must have the ability to speak on the phone in a friendly and professional manner.  Applicant must present themselves in a professional and friendly manner when greeting and serving client’s needs.

Teamwork-There are very few duties that are specifically assigned to each team member. We do not have assigned client lists. We all answer the phone, we all help clients when they call or come in. There is no passing off to someone else. We all are here to serve our clients to the best of our ability.

Communication skills (Written & Verbal)-applicant must be able to speak and write in a clear, professional and friendly manner. Proper formatting and etiquette for all types of correspondence is a must.  

Interpersonal skills-Applicant must be able to focus on solving conflict, listen to others without interrupting and keep emotions under control. Applicant must remain open to new ideas and ready to try new things. Applicant must understand and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Office machines-Applicant must be able to operate a fax machine, scanner, copier and a multifunction phone system.
