On the ACT website, www.independentagent.com - click on Agents Council for Technology, agents will find reports providing a vision of the future for agency technology, the recommended next steps for implementation, case studies of successful agency technology implementations, informative agency technology seminars, checklists, articles, and other publications. ACT urges agents to become actively engaged in their campaign to achieve more effective agency-company interfaces.
Established in January 1999, ACT is affiliated with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA) and provides a candid, action-oriented forum to address the critical technology issues facing the Independent Agency System. ACT helps participants understand the perspectives of the other stakeholders in the process and provides excellent networking opportunities with the participants who are shaping the future for the industry on these issues.
