IIANC offers multiple learning options to fit different schedules and learning styles, including a self-paced online exam preparation program, a live virtual Pre-Licensing course, and a traditional in-person Pre-Licensing class. Unlike national providers that rely on generalized multi-state content, InsurAcademy's programs are built specifically around North Carolina licensing requirements, exam content outlines, and state laws - helping learners focus on the material that matters most for exam success.

Your Investment
As an IIANC member, your agency can enroll new hires in the program at no cost. Pay the $350 enrollment fee and receive a full credit upon the employee's successful completion of either the instructor-led virtual pre-licensing course or the online pre-licensing course. Please note: the self-study pre-licensing option is not eligible for the credit. The credit can be applied toward future IIANC professional development programs and events.

There are three phases to the enrollment process:
- Schedule a 15-minute meeting with CJ (click here), who will go over the program and requirements in more detail with you.
- Complete the InsurAcademy application and assessments for student tracking purposes.
- Complete enrollment and submit the $350 registration deposit. Should you elect to send your employee through the virtual or in-person Pre-Licensing program, your deposit will be returned to your agency as a professional development credit upon successful completion of the program.
No. InsurAcademy is delivered entirely online through a self-paced learning platform. Participants can complete coursework from anywhere with reliable internet access and a computer.
Agencies pay a $350 enrollment fee during registration. If the employee elects to enroll in the virtual or in-person Pre-Licensing course, upon successful completion of the program, the agency receives a $350 professional development credit that can be applied toward future IIANC educational programs and training opportunities.
Agency employees do not need a qualifying score on the math/verbal assessment in order to attend InsurAcademy. We only ask that you complete this application for student tracking purposes, but it will not have any impact on your enrollment in the program.
