Veterans Licensing Scholarship Program
To show our support for the men and women of the armed forces who have served our country, IIANC is proud to offer a Veterans Licensing Scholarship Program. This provides all honorably discharged U.S. Veterans residing in North Carolina the opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the insurance industry by pursuing the education and training needed to receive a North Carolina Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License - at no cost. Funding for the scholarship program is provided by the IIANC Education Foundation.
In an effort to demonstrate our commitment to the promotion of diversity, inclusion and racial justice, IIANC's Diversity Scholarship will offset the cost of pre-licensing, professional development, and other onboarding-related
training needed to newly-hired racial minorities by IIANC member agencies. IIANC stands strongly against racism and injustice and we are committed to making positive, meaningful changes that will create more diversity within North Carolina's insurance
community. The scholarship amount is $500 and will be awarded to agencies to offset incurred costs.
