The New TrustedChoice.com for IIANC Members

The Big “I” has launched an all-new TrustedChoice.com - a free, consumer-facing agency locator designed to help insurance shoppers connect with independent agents in their area. Every member agency automatically receives a listing as part of membership. No subscription fees. No opt-in required.

Same URL. Entirely new mission.

The new TrustedChoice.com is focused on helping consumers easily find trusted independent insurance agencies while giving Big “I” members additional visibility online at no added cost.

What IIANC Members Need to Know

Basic agency information has already been imported into the platform, but your agency’s company administrator should log in and complete your profile to ensure your listing is accurate and searchable. This includes:

  • Selecting the states your agency operates in
  • Adding the coverages your agency provides
  • Updating agency and contact information
  • Completing additional profile details to improve visibility in consumer searches

To help keep agency information accurate and secure, profile editing is limited to designated “Company Admin” users in your organization. Only designated company administrators can make profile updates. Other users will be able to view agency information, but not edit it. If you run into any issues updating your agency’s profile, please email Trusted Choice for additional assistance.

Every Big “I” member agency is included automatically, but completing your profile is the best way to maximize your visibility and help potential clients find your agency online.

The new TrustedChoice.com is built for consumers and built around independent agents. Make sure your agency listing is complete so consumers can easily connect with your agency online.

Please note: agencies previously subscribed to the former TrustedChoice.com platform may continue services through InsuredBetter.com, operated by Momentum AMP. IIANC is currently working with Momentum AMP to launch a new portal for North Carolina agencies, and we expect it to go live in summer 2026. This second agency locator will offer IIANC member agencies additional opportunities to be searched online and obtain more referrals with expanded profiles available. Stay tuned for additional information.

InsuredBetter.com is not affiliated with the Big “I” or the Trusted Choice brand. The new TrustedChoice.com is a separate and additional member benefit.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are these changes happening?

The consumer search portal that has existed on TrustedChoice.com for the past 10+ years was operated by a third-party company, not by Trusted Choice or the Big “I” national association directly. That platform has now transitioned to a new company, Momentum AMP, and will continue under a new website: InsuredBetter.com.

At the same time, the Big “I” and Trusted Choice are launching an entirely new TrustedChoice.com agency locator beginning June 1st as a member benefit for Big “I” agencies.

What is the difference between TrustedChoice.com and InsuredBetter.com?

Beginning June 1st, TrustedChoice.com will feature a brand-new agency locator operated by the Big “I” national association and Trusted Choice.

InsuredBetter.com (operated by Momentum AMP) will house the previous referral platform and paid Advantage subscription services many agencies have used over the years.

They are now two separate platforms.

Will my agency appear on both websites?
If your agency previously participated in the paid Advantage/referral program, your agency may now appear on both:

TrustedChoice.com (free member listing) and InsuredBetter.com (paid referral platform).

All IIANC member agencies will automatically receive both the free TrustedChoice.com listing and the InsuredBetter.com listing as part of your member benefits.

Do I need to pay to be listed on the new TrustedChoice.com?

No. Every IIANC member agency receives a free listing on the new TrustedChoice.com at no additional cost.

What happens to my existing Advantage subscription or paid referrals?
Existing paid referral/Advantage services are transitioning to InsuredBetter.com through Momentum AMP. The same team that managed the previous TrustedChoice.com referral platform is continuing to operate that service through InsuredBetter.com.

Will TrustedChoice.com still offer paid leads?

At this time, the new TrustedChoice.com platform is being positioned as a free member benefit and agency locator. There are currently no announced plans for paid lead opportunities through the new platform.

Who will invoice me for my current paid subscription?
If you currently participate in paid referral or Advantage services, future invoicing will likely come from Momentum AMP/InsuredBetter.com rather than Trusted Choice. For questions regarding your paid subscription, agencies should contact Momentum AMP directly at: edgesupport@momentumamp.com.

Do I need a separate login for InsuredBetter.com?

If your agency previously participated in the paid referral platform, Momentum AMP/InsuredBetter.com will provide information regarding account access and login details as the transition continues.

Why is my agency information blank on the new TrustedChoice.com?

Agencies MUST log in and review/update their agency profile information before launch. This includes: agency contact information, coverages offered, services provided, and commercial appetite information. This ensures consumers can accurately find your agency in search results.

Is InsuredBetter.com affiliated with Trusted Choice or the Big “I”?
No. InsuredBetter.com is operated by Momentum AMP and is not affiliated with the Big “I” or the Trusted Choice brand.

The new TrustedChoice.com is a separate platform and official member benefit provided through the Big “I.”

Who should I contact if I need help updating my TrustedChoice.com profile?
For assistance updating your agency profile on TrustedChoice.com, please contact: trusted.choice@iiaba.net.

Will there be additional changes coming?
Yes. IIANC is continuing to work with Momentum AMP regarding additional resources and portals for North Carolina agencies. More information will be shared as it becomes available, likely in summer 2026.
