Member Testimonials

"I had two partners who I needed to buy out and our stock redemption agreement called for an appraisal from an insurance agency specific appraiser so I called Kurt. I sent him all of the information he asked for and just a few days later he drove the Statesville with the appraisal. It was very professionally done with a lot of information and comparisons that I didn’t even think of. Both partners read it over and both were impressed as well. I could go on but in a nutshell, he did very professional job and would highly recommend him."  - Bo Walker, CPCU, CIC, Walker Insurance

"Several years ago MSH Insurance agency engaged Kurt Fickling to value the agency.   I was not doing this for a sale of the agency but to better understand what a potential buyer was looking and to make sure the agency was managed in a way to maximize a possible future sale. As a coincidence soon after the valuation MSH purchased a “book of business” from another agency.   This detailed report received from Fickling helped the lender understand our current Financial state and allowed for a very attractive interest rate.   The discounted rate we received from the lender paid for Fickling’s fee many times over.  It is also useful justification on personal financial statements since most agencies are personally held.  Kurt is also helpful in establishing buy/sell agreements."  - David Purinai, CIC, AAI, CRM, MSH Insurance

"A few years ago Kurt Fickling did an agency evaluation for Catawba Insurance Agency, LLC for family estate purposes.  In our opinion Kurt did an outstanding job with this evaluation.  He is very knowledgeable about the agency side of the business which helps with the process.  He was extremely fair and up front with his evaluation, and left nothing untouched making sure it was the best and most accurate evaluation possible.  IF you have any questions on or about this matter please feel free to give me a call.  Kurt is an outstanding insurance professional and I would absolutely use his services in the future!"  - Patrick Laney, Catawva Insurance Agency, LLC
