Lindsey Coates

As Accounting Coordinator, Lindsey supports IIANC's financial operations with a strong focus on managing accounts payable, financial record maintenance, and supporting the overall fiscal health of the association. She began her professional career in the insurance industry over a decade ago, and was once licensed in Accident, Life & Health in 2017. Since then, she has built a well-rounded background in banking, accounting, and operational support. Returning full circle to the insurance industry in an accounting role, Lindsey leverages both industry familiarity and financial expertise to support smooth and efficient operations. 

Lindsey graduated from the University of South Dakota with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a native from Minnesota, and outside of work enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and rescue pup Moose. Her passions include working out (especially lifting weights), DIY projects at the house, cooking, and baking sourdough.

 Fun facts about Lindsey:

• She played Division 1 Volleyball at the University of South Dakota

• She is single-handedly keeping Amazon in business (according to her husband)

• She will never turn down an opportunity to grab a bite to eat or have a nice glass of wine
