Andy Mathisen

Andy Mathisen, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of GloveBox was an observer of the insurance industry from a young age. Growing up in an insurance family, he watched his dad transition from a captive agent to starting his own independent agency in the late 90’s. This provided a front row seat to the insurance industry. Inevitably, Andy made his way to the family agency and help scale agency at a rapid pace. In under a decade, the book of business grew to $100MM in personal lines premium and provided the opportunity to sell. After the sale was complete in the summer of 2019, Andy started GloveBox alongside his brother and business partner. Today, the insurtech company provides a core system and a major solution to independent agents in the vertical of client experience.
